What is a logo roller?

A logo roller is a handheld stamp with an engraved wheel: load it with an ink marker, place it on a surface and roll, and your logo or text prints as a continuous repeating band for as long as you keep rolling. It replaces printed packaging for small runs. You buy plain kraft boxes, bags, tissue or tape, then brand them in-house as you pack, with no print minimums and no per-order setup costs.

How does a logo roller work?

  1. 1

Your design is engraved on a roll

Send your logo or type your text, approve a free proof, and we laser-engrave it onto the roll that carries the imprint.

  2. 2

An ink marker feeds the roll

A matched paint marker sits in the handle and inks the engraved surface as it turns. Swap colors by swapping markers.

  3. 3

    Roll a continuous branded band

Place it on the surface and roll. The imprint repeats for as long as you keep rolling, with no repositioning between impressions.

The full walkthrough, including ink-by-surface guidance, is on the How it works page.

Logo roller FAQ

What is a logo roller used for?

Branding packaging in-house. Instead of ordering printed boxes or bags in bulk, you buy plain kraft stock and roll your logo onto boxes, bags, tissue, tape, wood or fabric as you pack. It is also used on wood crates, market-stall signage and event materials.

Is a logo roller better than a regular stamp?

A roller is useful when you want a repeating band along a box or across paper. A regular stamp is useful for a single mark on a card or label. Both need a steady hand; the roller saves you from lining up each repeat separately.

Do I need special ink?

You need a paint marker matched to the roller's band width and to your surface. Water-based acrylic is the all-rounder for kraft and cardboard. Alcohol and oil inks bond to coated or non-porous surfaces like metal and walls. The marker is sold separately so you get the right ink, not a default one.

Can one roller print different designs?

Yes. On the Rolly 3.0, M and L the engraved roll is interchangeable: keep one handle and swap in extra rolls for a second brand, a seasonal design or a campaign. Swapping takes seconds and needs no tools. On the Rolly XL you swap the whole head instead, with the new wheel already fitted.
