Matte kraft prints best
Most coffee bags have a matte kraft outer even when foil-lined inside, and that outer surface takes acrylic like any kraft paper. Glossy or heavily coated bags need an alcohol or oil ink instead. Always test on one bag before stamping the batch.
The outside of the packaging only
The inks are art-grade paint and not certified for direct food contact. Stamp bag fronts, sleeves, carriers and boxes, never surfaces that touch beans, pastry or drink directly. Check the packaging supplier’s guidance before use.

Can the roller print roast dates or batch numbers?
No. The design is engraved and fixed, so use the roller for the brand and a date stamp or handwriting for batch information.
Will the band smudge on coated bags?
On matte kraft the acrylic dries in seconds. Coated surfaces need an alcohol or oil ink and a little longer to dry, so test one bag first.
Do cup sleeves really work?
Plain kraft sleeves print like any kraft paper. Stamp them flat in a stack before service, one short pass each.
