Brand boxes with a logo roller

Shipping cartons
Corrugated board is porous and takes acrylic ink cleanly. Roll along a side panel or across the top flaps.
Mailer boxes
Recycled kraft mailers and subscription boxes take a band along the lid edge or across the front.
Product & gift boxes
Rigid kraft boxes take a short band on the lid or a wrap-around along the side.
Food boxes
Brand the outside of the box only. The inks are art-grade and not certified for direct food contact.
Coated or glossy boxes
Laminated board needs an alcohol or oil ink instead of acrylic. Test on one box first.
Why stamp boxes instead of printing them?
Printed boxes come with a minimum run per size and design, weeks of lead time and storage for every variant. A roller keeps you on cheap plain stock: one tool brands every box size you use, and a seasonal design is a swapped engraved roll, not a new print order.
The band repeats continuously, so a long box edge takes one smooth pass instead of a row of individually aligned stamps.
Where should the band go?
A continuous band along the lid edge reads most like printed packaging. On tall cartons a vertical band down the side panel stays visible when boxes are stacked. Rolling on a flat, unassembled box is easier than on an assembled one, so stamp before you fold when you can.

Common questions
Does it work on dark or already-printed boxes?
The markers are opaque paint, so a light color reads on dark board. On boxes with existing print, stamp a clear area and check the contrast on one box before doing the batch.
Will one roller handle different box sizes?
Yes. The band repeats for as long as you keep rolling, so the same roller brands a small mailer and a large carton. Only the length of the pass changes.
Should I stamp boxes flat or assembled?
Flat is easier: lay the unfolded box on a hard surface and roll with light, even pressure. Assembled boxes work too, just support the panel you are stamping from inside.
How fast does the ink dry on cardboard?
Water-based acrylic dries to the touch in seconds on porous kraft and corrugated board. Coated board takes longer and needs an alcohol or oil ink.
