Use the same design inside and out
Put one band along the box lid and another across the tissue fold inside. A short band on an insert leaves room for a handwritten note. Start with those three placements and adjust them to the packaging you use.
Prepare the number of parcels you need
Printed packaging often has a minimum order per size and design. With a roller, you can brand five parcels this week and fifty next week from the same plain stock, and swap the engraved roll when the brand or season changes.

Yes. You can buy one custom roller, keep using plain packaging and stamp just the orders you need to send.
How long does branding one order take?
Allow one pass for each band, plus drying time. The time depends on your layout, material and packing routine. Preparing tissue in a batch can make order packing easier.
Will it work on poly mailers?
Glossy plastic is not among the tested surfaces. Kraft paper mailers are the reliable route, and if you want to try poly, test an alcohol ink on one mailer first.
Can I match the band across all materials?
Yes, it is the same engraved roll everywhere, so box, tape and tissue carry an identical repeating band. Only the marker ink type changes with the surface.
